Write for us
Emerald Daily Briefing welcomes considered pitches about city journeys and the choices that shape them. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to judge the subject, approach and reader value.
What we are looking for
Pitch clear, original work about routes, modes, timing, routines or wayfinding. Strong proposals address a specific question, explain why it matters to a commuter and offer a distinct angle rather than repeating familiar travel tips. We value comparisons, careful explanations and grounded ideas that readers can use without relying on local rules.
A useful pitch
Include a working title, a short summary, the main point you want readers to take away and any sources or experience the piece would rely on. Tell us whether the idea is an explainer, comparison, reported feature or another form. Do not send confidential information or claim research or testing that has not taken place.
Before sending
Please submit a proposal through the Contact page rather than sending a complete article. A pitch is not a promise of publication, and we may ask for changes to the scope or approach. We consider work for fit, originality, clarity and usefulness to readers.
